We eat here regularly. The food is always good and if there is something to complain about, a friendly remedy is provided. We have always found the wait staff to be friendly and professional. The corona regulations are observed, which unfortunately is not the case at all restaurants in Sankt Georgen. We have already reserved for the next family celebration.

I was on a bike tour here in St Georgen about 10 years ago and was looking for restaurants in the evening. Fortunately I had found this restaurant at the time down-to-earth cuisine is still offered

Can only advise against a visit! Bad, outrageous service and the food was barely edible-consisted only of butter and salt. Orders were partially forgotten or wrong. At complaint the service was rude and said we had ordered something else. I would like to give zero stars!

I'm a big fan of this place. The decor is rural but rustic, but the food is very good. Here is right price / performance ratio. Everything is freshly prepared and dispensed with flavor enhancers. The kitchen is good bourgeois, there are always seasonal offers. Beer is also more imaginative than the competition in St.Georgen. The staff is always very friendly.

The interior looks like it's 1973, but don't turn around because the food is tasty with high quality ingredients. Service was as friendly as it gets. Highly recommended!

Absolutely excellent traditional black forest cuisine. They have a small card with traditional dishes. I have visited this restaurant on a regular basis in the last few years and everything I have eaten there was just very good. Also I have not noticed any variations in dish quality on the dishes I frequently eat (e.g. Schnitzel & Spätzle, Bratwurst, Salad etc.). In stark constrast to restaurants with similar cards elsewhere. I have to mention that I have not eaten better Spätzle anywhere else and I have tried numerous places over the years and grew up in the region. What I like very much about this restaurant is that traditions are kept. For instance, the salad you get has different ingredients depending on the season and these ingredients. The card contains very traditional dishes that are typical for the region. To the best of my knowledge everything you get is handmade, including sauces, salad and soup. Mrs. Morat will look after their guests have briefly chats with them to ensure that everything is alright. I can only recommand to go there.

Basic (but excellent) German cuisine. Honest offers (if honest is the word). Mum (owner, 70+) goes round and speaks to the guests at the tables.
